Emily Wilmot, SHRM-CP, PHR serves as Executive Search Director and HR Consultant at W Talent Solutions, where she partners with organizations nationwide to build high-impact leadership teams and solve complex talent challenges. She leads executive search engagements across a wide range of industries while also providing strategic HR consulting to help organizations strengthen their people, leadership, and culture. As a senior leader within the firm, Emily mentors team members, guides search strategy, and works closely with clients to identify and attract exceptional talent that drives long-term business success.

With nearly three decades of experience in human resources, recruiting, and talent acquisition, Emily brings a unique combination of executive search expertise and HR leadership to her work. She began her career in the staffing industry in 1996, supporting both temporary and executive placements, and has since held roles on both the agency and corporate sides of the profession. Throughout her career, she has partnered with organizations across construction, insurance, manufacturing, professional services, and numerous other industries, helping leaders navigate hiring, talent strategy, and organizational growth.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Davenport University. She holds both Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications and is certified as an Executive Program Leader through Maxwell Leadership. She is also DISC certified and brings a passion for leadership development and talent optimization to every client engagement. Emily looks forward to supporting future community initiatives through W Talent Solutions, including opportunities connected to the firm’s partnership with the YWCA.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, of more than 20 years. As empty nesters, they enjoy visiting their children across the country, spending summers boating on Lake Charlevoix, and exploring the outdoors together. An avid hiker, Emily has visited national parks including Olympic and Yosemite and already has a llama hiking adventure planned for 2027. When she’s not outdoors, she can often be found with a cup of coffee, a good book, or her ukulele in hand.
