Amanda is W Talent Solutions’ business administration manager. In this role, she serves as the culture ambassador, human resources manager, and finance manager. Amanda is tasked with overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, budgeting, employee payroll, benefits, and onboarding. She also supports vendor relations, business strategy, and any other administrative functions that arise.
Before joining W Talent Solutions, Amanda served for three and a half years as the office administrator at Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc.
An Ohio native, Amanda received her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from The Ohio State University and regularly attends trainings and events through HRCI, SHRM, and the Grand Rapids Chamber to further develop her HR and administrative skillsets and to stay knowledgeable of new policy and small business compliance.
Amanda is thrilled W Talent Solutions offers her regular opportunities to support women and children in the community by volunteering with the YWCA, Wedgwood Christian Services, and North Kent Connect. She is a parent volunteer at Algoma Christian School, where one of her boys currently attends, and serves as a children’s ministry leader on Sunday mornings at City Church Rockford. Her family also sponsors a child in Burkina Faso through Compassion International.
Amanda has a passion for health and wellness and in 2015, while being a stay-at-home parent, Amanda started her own small business, A Mother’s Nature, where she crafts artisan health and beauty care products using all-natural ingredients including therapeutic grade essential oils. She contributes to Northern Michigan Woman Magazine, sharing her business story and natural wellness expertise.
Her hobbies include listening to her daughter sing/play the guitar and attending her kids’ wrestling meets, basketball and soccer games. She loves cooking from scratch, game night with the family, and an occasional night out with The Tribe.
