Our Mission

At W Talent Solutions, we use our time, talent, and treasure to make an impactful difference in the communities we serve. 

The ‘W’ in W Talent Solutions not only stands for my first initial in ‘Ward,’ but also represents ‘why’ we do what we do. Every single day, my team and I persist toward our deeper why: helping company leaders uncover and hire the best talent to get them to the next level. The why also represents the commitment we’ve made to our philanthropic endeavors, marrying business with philanthropy. 

This commitment was born out of my personal experience but transcends my individual story. The more my work and the work of my company intersects with our communities, the more we understand the painful reverberations of domestic violence and trauma, and the positive impact of support and understanding.

Together, W Talent Solutions volunteered over 197 hours to local nonprofits in 2023. This time was spent as a team cleaning pantries, organizing clothes for women and children at a domestic violence shelter, and more. My individual work totaled over 154 hours and included serving on boards and fundraising committees, leading, attending, volunteering, and speaking at events, and connecting nonprofits to other community leaders. W Talent Solutions has donated over $50,000 to local organizations in its history, and annually donates 10 percent of our profits to community nonprofits.

I have personally been touched by many nonprofits throughout my life during times of adversity, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. The conception of W Talent Solutions (originally founded as Hire for Hope) represented a monumental moment for me to take my life into my own hands, to blaze a new trail for myself that I never thought possible when I was in the midst of my life’s earlier adversities. During those dark times, I felt moments of hopelessness. My company and its underlying mission were birthed out of light, in hopes to make the same impact in the lives of others that a handful of select nonprofits were kind enough to give to me. 

Domestic violence and trauma ate away at my spirit for many years, but creating this company was my way of reclaiming my voice. Our philanthropic mission is a major part of our culture at W Talent Solutions, with deep roots in our original foundation. We are carrying the torch and changing lives for years to come.
